New features for our online service

We're always looking of ways to improve your online service and to make it easier for you to use. After reviewing your feedback we've created some new features to help keep your accounts secure and to provide you with a greater range of facilities to manage your accounts. New Online Service Conditions
Please note that on 1st November Payment Services Regulations (PSR) and Banking Conduct of Business rules (BCOBS) will take effect. In order to comply with new regulations the online service conditions have been updated. Click here to view the new online service conditions.

New security feature - security certificates
Now you can be even more confident about using our online service.  We've introduced a new security certificate which displays in the browser bar of the most commonly used browsers, and confirms the validity of the website. Click here for more information about the new certificate.
 
Changes to making credit card payments online using a debit card
We have recently made a change to our online payment service, for your added security.  When you make a payment by debit card you will be asked to provide your secure password as part of the global "Verified by Visa"  / "MasterCard SecureCode" service.

If your debit card issuer participates in either of these schemes, and you have not already registered your debit card, as part of the payment process you will be asked to register.  Should you choose not to register, your debit card issuer may not authorise any further payments through this website. If you have any queries your debit card issuer will be able to provide further information regarding the service they offer.

Faster Payments
You can now make payments from your current account(s) immediately to other recipient's account(s) (that also provide this service).  Payments should arrive within 2 hours.  Find out about faster payments.

International Payments
You can now transfer money abroad using your online service for £9.50. You can also request Foreign Drafts online from £6.  Find out about international payments.

Security
It’s important to keep your telephone numbers up-to-date, we’ve introduced a new security measure to help keep your online service secure.  We may use your telephone numbers to contact you so we can confirm who you are.  Find out about online security.
