How to register
Most Bank of Scotland personal accounts and any Halifax accounts that you have can be serviced through online banking.
Registering for online banking is easy and only takes a few minutes.
You will need:
- Your name and address and details of an account that you have with us such as:
- Roll number or account number and sort code
- Credit card number
- Sharedealing PRN and PIN
Register now in 3 simple steps:
Step 1 – Click the 'Register now' link in the next steps box below
Step 2 – Select the 'Register my existing account' in the New User section
Step 3 – Choose the account you'd like to register and follow the on-screen instructions
That's it!
You'll receive a username online and in the next 7 days you'll receive your temporary password by post with a handy guide that shows you all you need to know to get started.
Certain Bank of Scotland accounts are accessed through our Bank of Scotland Internet Banking Service, including:
Offshore Accounts
Money Market Cheque Accounts
If you'd like to register your Money Market Cheque Account for Bank of Scotland Internet Banking - download and complete the application form (PDF new window). You'll need to print this, sign and post the completed form to the address below.
Customers using the Internet Banking Service can add additional users or accounts by completing and returning the Variation Request Form .
