Not Registered for online banking?
If you haven't yet registered for online banking - it's a very easy process. To be automatically entered into the prize draw, you will need to register and activate* your online banking service.
Signing in for the first time?
If you've already registered for online banking, but haven't yet used the service, all you need to do is activate by signing in for the first time.
Already Registered?
If you are already registered, you simply need to sign in to online by 11/12/08 to be automatically entered into the prize draw.

Nintendo Wii Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
Entry
1. The prize draw is open to Halifax and Bank of Scotland account holders who are UK residents aged 16 years or over. Employees and the immediate families of the promoter, its subsidiaries and other group companies, and anybody professionally connected with the promotion, are excluded from entry.
2. To be automatically entered into the draw, you need to:
a. Activate your online banking if you have registered but not activated yet, between 12:00 am on the 31st October and 12:00 am on the 11th December 2008.
b. Sign in to online banking between 12:00 am on the 31st October and 12:00 am on the 11th December 2008 if you are already using online banking.
c. Register and activate* online banking between 12:00 am on the 31st October and 12:00 am on the 11th December if you have not registered for the online banking service.
* Please allow up to 7 days for initial sign in details to arrive by post.
The Draw
3. The draw will take place under independent supervision on the 16th December. The winners will be notified personally by telephone within 6 days of the draw. The prizes will be dispatched within 6 days of the draw. We cannot guarantee that you will receive the prize in time for Christmas

4. Twenty winners will be selected at random from the entries received on the 16th December 2008. Each winner will receive a Nintendo Wii and Wii Sports Game.
5. We may at our absolute discretion substitute cash value for the prize or offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. The winner cannot transfer the prize without our specific written permission.
6. The winners names can be obtained by sending a stamped self addressed envelope to us at Wii Prize Draw, HBOS Marketing, Online Banking, CL/1/LCE/26583, Trinity Road, Halifax, West Yorkshire HX1 2RG within 3 months of the closing date.
7. Our instructions for completion of any entry and the advertising text form part of the rules of the draw.
8. Your entry implies your acceptance of the rules as being final and legally binding. To opt out of the draw please write to Opt Out, Wii Prize Draw, HBOS Marketing, Online Banking, CL/1/LCE/26583, Trinty Road, Halifax, West Yorkshire HX1 2RG
9. We may require the winner to take part in further publicity resulting from the draw and will have the right, without additional payment or permission, to use the winner's name, age, county and town of residence for the purposes of announcing the winner of this competition and for related promotional purposes.
10. The promoter of the draw is Bank of Scotland plc. Registered in Scotland No. SC327000. Registered Office: The Mound, Edinburgh, EH1 1YZ. The promoter's decision is final.
11. Reference to 'Online banking' includes both Halifax Online and Bank of Scotland Online.
