There’s a lot more to our cash machines than you might think. And of course, they’re open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

• Withdraw up to £300 a day free of charge
• Print mini-statements showing your last 12 transactions
• Check your balance
• Change your PIN
• Pay bills or move money to other Bank of Scotland and Halifax accounts
• Pay in cash and cheques at some of our machines

Remember - help to prevent fraud by always shielding the keypad when you enter your PIN at a cash machine, or when you're paying with your card in shops.

You can also use any LINK cash machine to access your money, but other machine owners may charge you for this service.

International cash machine restrictions

The banking industry is suffering high levels of fraud through cash machines in other countries. To protect you and us we have strengthened our defences, which may cause some disruption to our service when you use your debit card in cash machines outside the UK. If you do have difficulties, you can try to use a different cash machine. The problems shouldn’t affect you when you use your card in shops or bureaux de change or at bank counters overseas.
