It’s easy to apply for any of our accounts, whether it’s online, by phone or in a branch*. Just choose which way suits you best.

Applications can also be made via post - just pick up an application form from your local branch.
If you already have a Bank of Scotland current account and you would like to change this to an Ultimate Reward Current Account or a High Interest Current Account. You can do so by calling 08457 21 31 41 to request a form or call into your local branch.
*When you apply for a new account, we’re legally obliged to confirm your name and address. To help us do this, please read our proving your identity section, which explains the documents you may have to provide. Please note that different requirements apply to Easycash applications - refer to your application pack for further information.
Calls to 0845 numbers from BT landlines will cost a maximum of 4p per minute. The price of calls from other telephone companies will vary.
