Transferring your ISA to Halifax
Enjoy the benefits of our great range of ISAs by transferring an existing mini cash ISA you have with another provider to Halifax. Our ISA transfer service is FREE and the transfer happens in three easy steps:
Step 1 – You provide us with details of your current ISA

| You provide us with details of your current ISA | Our branch or helpline staff will open a Halifax ISA ready to receive the transferred funds |
Step 2 – We transfer your ISA

| Our ISA transfer team will request the money from your existing provider. You won't lose any interest for the period your money is in transit because the funds are shown as credited to your account from the day after they left your existing provider |
Step 3 – We complete the transfer and make sure your account is up and running

| We will write to you to confirm the transfer is complete |
Transferring to a fixed rate ISA
If you ask to transfer to our fixed rate ISA, interest rates may change before the transfer has been completed.
