Fixed interest - the rate we pay is guaranteed not to change throughout the term
Interest paid - on maturity for terms of up to 12 months and annually for terms over 12 months
Maturity of term - you will provide maturity instructions when you open the account. These can be changed anytime up to 5 working days before maturity
Eligibility - UK resident personal customers aged 11+

- Your Bank of Scotland Current Account details (if you are an existing customer)
- Previous address details if you have lived at your current address for less than 3 years
- If you are applying for a joint account, please ensure you have the above details for the second applicant, as well as their personal details.
Please note: To open a Fixed Rate Halifax Web Saver, you will need to open a variable rate Halifax Web Saver account first. A Fixed Rate Halifax Web Saver can only receive the opening deposit from a Variable Rate Halifax Web Saver. When your fixed term ends, your savings will be transferred into your Variable Rate Web Saver.
